Things that come up

The line is not how I would say it. Tap “Say it your way” and rewrite it. Your version is kept and goes out with every later read, so the app sounds more like you the longer you use it.

Teaching it your voice. Tap VOICE and choose a report of your own listings — the file you can download from eBay or Etsy, as CSV or Excel. No report? Choose three to five pictures of your own listings instead; the words are read on this phone.

I ran out of lines mid-show. Tap “Buy more” beside the counter. Bought lines never expire, and you are only charged when a line comes back.

Lot numbers. Tap the number beside a piece and type what your tray calls it. It shows at the top of the prompter card, so naming the lot and reading the line is one glance.

The screen went dark mid-show. It should not — the prompter keeps the screen awake. If it happens, tell us what phone you are on.

What this app will never do

Put a value on a piece. Name a maker from a photograph. Call unmarked metal silver or gold. Name a gemstone from a picture. Use the word rare. Those are rules, not preferences, and they are there because whatever you say on camera is the only description your buyer gets.
